LINN COUNTY KIDS CREATE is a site where Linn County, Oregon middle school and high school age students can display and share their prose, poetry and pictures (drawings or photographs).  School age youngsters can submit writing done at any time in school or on their own and can submit photographs, drawings, paintings or other art work (in reproduction so it can be transmitted over the web) done in school or on their own.

The Sixth Edition (Nov. '11) is now on line.  The Seventh Edition (March '12) is partially on line and will be finished shortly.  In addition, all the previous editions remain online and can be viewed by clicking on the date of the edition or on the "More" tab where the three earliest editions can be found.  An Eighth Edition is planned for June, 2012.

This 'zine is an independent entity that is not affiliated with any school or organization.  The site was, however, redeveloped to encompass the entire county with the assistance of the Linn County Art Guild.  The site will cooperate with any school or library program that encourages student creativity.  CONTACT ADDRESS:  Email intended for the 'zine should be sent to linncountykidscreate@gmail.com.

This space is for the display of creative work that the creators wish to share and that is worthy of being shared.  The editors will select the work on the basis of coherence, accessibility, general appeal, and literary or artistic merit.  Offensive or profane or defamatory language will result in the rejection of an offered work.

This is a non-profit enterprise.  It does not solicit or accept advertising.  There is no revenue to pay for contributors and payment cannot be made for the work posted here.  All copyrights remain with the creative artists.  Contributors should note that other venues may consider appearance here as publication and some venues reject material that has been previously published.

STUDENTS WISHING TO SUBMIT WORK SHOULD READ AND FOLLOW THE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES STATED IN THE SUBMISSION SECTION.  SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE SENT TO LINNCOUNTYKIDSCREATE@GMAIL.COM.  THE OPPORTUNITIES SECTION OF THE 'ZINE LISTS OTHER PLACES FOR THE DISPLAY OR PUBLICATION OF STUDENT WORK.  THAT SECTION SHOULD BE VISITED REGULARLY.
