Submission Process:
THERE WILL BE A SEVENTH ISSUE IN MARCH, 2012 WITH A SUBMISSION DUE DATE OF MID-MARCH, 2012.
The ‘zine is open to all middle school and high school age students living or studying in Linn County, Oregon, including all students of any school district such at GAPS which is partially in Linn County and partially in another county.
All work must be original and suitable for the young, general audience intended.
Each submission must contain the name of the creator, a contact address (can be e-mail), and the creator’s grade level and school (or homeschooled). The work will be identified in the 'zine by the first name of the artist and the grade level s/he is in. No more identification will be provided in the site. If an artist wishes less identification, his/her request will be honored. However, the work itself must be accompanied by a full name and contact information or it cannot be considered for the 'zine.
The original (in case of pictures) or a copy (written work) should be kept by the submitter because work cannot be returned to the submitter.
MORE RULES:
PROSE – Prose (fiction or non-fiction) should be limited to roughly 3,000 words or less. It should be about something of general interest. Proposed work should be forwarded as part of or an attachment to an e-mail sent to: linncountykidscreate@gmail.com
A sincere effort should be made to submit electronically. If, however, that proves impossible, work can be typed and may be mailed to:

POETRY – Any form, any style. Proposed poems should be forwarded as part of or an attachment to an e-mail to: linncountykidscreate@gmail.com
Care should be taken to maintain or indicate format where a specific format is desired.
In the event work cannot be submitted in this fashion, it should be typed or very carefully hand-written and may be mailed to the address stated above in the prose subsection.
PICTURES – Art (photographs, pictures etc) must be made into a jpg computer file that can be forwarded as an attachment to an e-mail. No originals should be submitted. Contact the editor at linncountykidscreate@gmail.com if special arrangements need to be made to photograph art work.
